That is not the look of a toilet that I'm used to. Here's a close-up of the control panel on the left side.
This may be common in other countries but it was a new experience for me and I must say that I may not be able to go back to the arcane ways of my home country. This system takes the porcelain experience to a whole new level.
Since I was staying on the most famous beach in South Korea, I got to enjoy a touch of seafood in most of my meals. You'll see a whole fish (guts and all) that was fried up for me in the first picture and a whole shrimp in the second one.
Of course, eating the seafood isn't enough. I also got to see the product, before it was cooked, in the local market.
Some random points of interest are that I stumbled across the world's largest department store, a Chevrolet bicycle, and an It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia restaurant.
Inside the world's largest department store is a driving range and an ice rink where I may have caught a quick video of a future Olympian. They sure do start training young!
I should have one final post about my trip still to come so be on the lookout!

I had the same problem (with the fancy toilet) at Narita Airport and hotel in Tokyo. How funny. I think I took a picture of the toilet too.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! What another world! Wow. Thanks for sharing, Daniel. Great pics :D
ReplyDeleteThat video is so cute! I love how slow he's going in actuality, though. Ha ha.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if I'd be able to get used to such high-tech toilets. I think I like the old archaic ones we still have here.
